Usually we go out of town in August, and are often vacationing when my birthday comes on August 4th. Like, last year we celebrated with our friends, a DJ and his wife, at their nightclub in the Caribbean.
This year, because 2020 hasn't been eventful enough, there was a hurricane where we live. My twin sister and her family came over in the evening, after fallen trees and other damage closed all the local restaurants, and hung out on our deck. We managed to find a place to deliver us a pizza.
Typical for this year, I'd say.
